Audience research and testing is an integral part HLM's Clearly Communicating Clinical Trials (C3T) program. As such, our team needs to connect with community members regularly, meeting them where they are. That's where Norah comes in. Norah develops and coordinates opportunities for community members to review and provide feedback on clinical trial content — informed consent forms, recruitment , and reports and summaries — to ensure the materials are easy-to-read, easy-to-understand, and effective at conveying the intended message. Norah is responsible for audience testing recruitment and scheduling, and assists in executing interviews, focusing on the attitudes and opinions of participants.

Norah also creates engaging content to recruit members of the community for these opportunities, while also ensuring that at each stage of the process — recruitment, scheduling, and interviewing — the participants understand the information provided and the task at hand.

Before joining HLM, Norah partnered with the Saint Louis Public School District to decrease disparities in the education system, by tutoring students regularly. She also served as a social media specialist for Ujima STL, a non-profit pay-what-you-can service provider offering equitable access to food, education, and employment. Norah holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in writing from Webster University.
