In addition to being a writer, Amy is a nurse, mother, and native New Englander. She holds a master's degree in Maternal and Child Health from the Harvard T. Chan School of Public Health and trained to be a certified nurse-midwife at Yale School of Nursing and Boston University School of Public Health. When not choosing better words for better health, Amy can be found exploring the outdoors or planning her next adventure
