Martha Gragg, RN, MSN, MBA, FACHE
Martha Gragg joined the Centene Corporation in 2016 bringing a history of leadership experience in clinical, institutional and foundation settings. In her current position, she works with the Business Development and Proposal Teams in building relationships with providers in targeted new markets and assisting in the proposal writing process. Prior to joining the Business Development team for new markets, she was the Director of Regional Networks for the Hospital Corporation of America MidAmerica Division covering four states and was responsible for setting the strategic direction for outreach specialty services and telehealth for all facilities including Research Medical Center and Tulane Medical Center.
For over ten years, Ms. Gragg was the Chief Executive Officer of a rural hospital, a long term care facility and three rural health clinics where she was instrumental in improving access to primary and specialty care for the community residents. She was a charter member of the Missouri Foundation for Health, a conversion foundation, and later as Vice President for Program at the Foundation, led in the disbursement of over $35 million annually for 12 funding programs.
Ms. Gragg has served on the Missouri Hospital Association Board and the Institute of Medicine - Roundtable for Health Literacy and is a current member of the Health Literacy Media Board, The OASIS Institute and the Truman State University Nursing Advisory Council.
